This lathe collet closer safety guard comes on a free-standing post that can be mounted to the tray of the machine.  It is universal to the Hardinge HLV, HC, DV-59 and others.

  • Bring your machine up to OSHA standards and cover the rotating shaft on the collet closer assembly of your toolroom lathe.
  • Constructed from 1/4" thick polycarbonate (lexan).   10" wide
  • Side panel included.
  • High quality friction (self-holding) hinges
  • Handle for lifting up and down

Very unique and versatile!

I installed on different Hardinge models and it worked perfectly on all. Easy to install and can be used on other applications.
