These drill press shields are designed for an industrial environment. They are user-friendly and adjustable enough to allow use at the point of operation. We offer several sizes to fit most drill press machines. Our drill press machine guards meet OSHA standards and are available with or without a safety interlock switch.

• DPG-ES, Econ-Series: Column clamp/ bolt-on, no interlock.  The ATS Econ-Series is our economic guarding solution for drill presses, built from 30mm aluminum extrusion with a billet aluminum column clamp. They are adjustable and the shield flips upward to open.  No interlock switch is available.   The DPG-ES series are available in two different size configurations the DPG-ES1 and the DPG-ES2. The DPG-ES1 (most popular) fits machines with a 2.0" through 4.0" main round column diameter and the larger DPG-ES2 is for 4.0" through 6.5" column diameters.
• DPG Heavy Duty Series: Column clamp/ bolt-on, available with or without interlock. This series of guarding is constructed from all heavy duty billet aluminum, offering more adjustment and the ability to be electrically interlocked.  The shield opens out to the left 180 degrees instead of flipping up like the Econ-Series. The DPG series guards come in two sizes: DPG-1 and DPG-2. 
• MG-4 "Universal Mount": Direct mount style, must drill & tap machine. Fits on radial drill press & other drilling or milling machines where the bolt-on option will not work.   Available with or without electrical interlock switches.

OSHA 29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1) requires that one or more methods of drill press machine guarding shall be provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, in-going nip points, rotating parts, flying chips, and sparks.
